Interior DesignSpatial planning, interior construction and furnishing Felix Schwake designs and realises interiors for private clients, businesses and institutions – from spatial planning to complete furnishing. The starting point is the built context: its proportions, construction, light and the relationships between spaces. Schwake combines these conditions with the use of the space and the client’s atmospheric expectations to develop a spatial idea. Layouts, materials, interior construction, built-in elements and furniture carry this idea through to the finished interior. Building structure, design and use are developed as a connected task. Planning and execution come from a single source. The design is carried through to the details of the furnishing. At the outset, Schwake discusses the project, its location and the intended atmosphere with the client. |
