Our Studio
Experoence Our Work

The atelier of Felix Schwake is not conceived as a conventional showroom, but as a place dedicated to the exploration of material, space, and design. It is here that projects are developed at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and functional art.

At the center of the work lies the development of spatial atmospheres. Architecture is not understood as an isolated object, but as a background for life. Materials, surfaces, light, and functions are therefore considered together and integrated into long-term spatial contexts.

The atelier simultaneously functions as a workspace, material archive, and place of dialogue. Models, drawings, material studies, and surface samples document the design and production processes behind the works. In particular, the importance of craftsmanship and material precision becomes visible throughout these processes.

Projects are developed as individual custom-made works arising directly from the requirements of their future use and architectural context. Functions are fully integrated so that spatial calmness and clarity can be maintained.

Particular importance is placed on the direct engagement with materiality. Natural stone, wood, metal, leather, and high-gloss lacquered surfaces change their appearance through light, touch, and aging. Architecture is therefore understood not as a static image, but as a long-term spatial experience.

The atelier offers insight into these design and craftsmanship processes. Conversations on site are intended not merely for the selection of materials or furnishings, but for the collaborative development of spatial concepts and atmospheric qualities.

Further information regarding projects, materials, and individual developments can be discussed during a personal visit to the atelier.
